so you mean even i use makemkv software with disc drive on windows system
i cant unlock this movie?
########
Spoiler:
how about i give you guys the people's skype etc
i mean the people those from norway bring me back this disc.
let them buy it again then ship to you?
they will return to norway next week..
i think all cost about
$40-50 (disc is $28)
I'm not sure what you're saying. Do you have the actual disc? If you do, either xreveal or makemkv should work. I think they both use the same key database. Customer support at xreveal told me that if there's no publicly available key they can calculate it from the VID. I just needed to submit a log file after processing the original disc - which I couldn't do, but you can ... if you have the disc. Once we find out the key I could add it to my own program and unlock the .iso on my hard drive.
I'm pretty annoyed that redfox just went dark without warning their customers, and didn't provide a way to keep the software people paid for operational by updating codes manually. They could at least have given the source code to somebody else to continue development.
I am not sure exactly what you are saying either about Skype and your Norwegian friends, but this is not Craigslist or eBay. If you want to sell or swap disks please communicate that by Private Message and do not post it in the threads.
I thank everyone for their efforts to collaborate on sharing this movie.
Note, I know nothing about ripping BluRay disks because I do not have a BluRay computer drive. However, I downloaded sh2dc's encrypted ISO out of curiosity to see what I could see for free. The trial version of the premium software AnyMP4 Blu-ray Ripper did succeed in giving 5 minutes of decrypted video. (That is all the trial allows!) Yet it was only 514,000 kb when 5 minutes uncompressed should have been at least twice that; I also must have done something else wrong because my chosen English subtitles were hardcoded. But it is at least a proof-of-concept that this disk CAN be decrypted.

If you have the disc then xreveal should decrypt it. If it doesn't, you can generate a dump file - there's an option right in the program window to do that - and submit it on the company's support page along with a contact email address. They can use that to calculate the key for the disc and send it to you. Once you have it, you can post it here. Anyone who downloaded the .iso you posted yesterday will be able to unlock it. You won't have to upload to MEGA again. One of us can do it.
No matter what you decide to do, sh2dc, you clearly have put a huge amount of time, expense and effort into trying to share this hard-to-get item. THANK YOU very much. I do not understand all the tech behind this myself. Deadman's final suggestion seems workable. Xreveal looks like it is a free program, and you would only have to scan the disk and pass along the information.
However, FIRST you must take a break from this project! It is great that you want to share, but you must keep it FUN for you and NOT a chore that will wear you down. Take some time to relax and just watch movies rather than fighting with software and ripping. I wish you well.

"dump" file only 5 mb?
is it easy than use xreveal rip whole disc to unlocked iso right?
