Based on a true story, the film recounts the fight of a woman, Laurence Jambu, to save her niece, Karine, from the mistreatment of her parents. To do this, she has to face indifference, hostility, incompetence or cowardice from certain officials of the ASE and the Justice who, despite repeated reports, keep the girl with her parents, against all logic. Finally, after years of struggle, Laurence will finally get custody of Karine.

The film is also a magnificent love story between Laurence and Karine. Laurence loves him like her own children and Karine reciprocates. For her, Laurence is her real mother, and when she grows up, she will do everything to ensure that justice is done to her.
