That's correct as it was made in Quebec, in the French Language.

Oh yes, definitely Quebec! You can tell by the film style, the accents... plus there's a big ol "Quebec" in the credits.

Canada is officially bilingual. Though major French Canadian populations are found in Ontario, Manitoba, and New Brunswick, the bulk of them are in the province of Quebec.

There are other Quebec films that are hard to find that would be just great for posting here. I can't remember any names, but if I ever come across another, I'll be sure to post it at FLM.

If Canada is bilingual, Canada is the UK's direct opposite.
Apart from a few of us brits being able to order a pint in Spanish, we cant and don’t need to speak another language, because the rest of the world (well, the important countries) speak English well enough anyway

Thank God for that. Even the few foreign words that you guys do speak are mangled beyond recognition. You Brits were bad enough on your own but now with the American influence you are unspeakable. Even the BBC, which millions of people around the world used to fine tune their English, is not immune. Eg. Just a few years ago Cannes used to be pronounced 'kahn'. Now it's 'can'.

Sorry for the rant. This is a bit of a sore point with people in my part of the world.

Personally, I think it would be a terribly boring world to live in if there was just one language.

Example A:

Dracula (1931). The English version is good, but the Spanish dub is passionate!

Example B:

The Flintstones dubbed with Quebec voice actors, brings a whole new level of comedy to the cartoon.

Example C:

Great songs like La Bamba would have never been made. Bing Crosby would have never wished you Merry Christmas in Hawaiian - "Kalikimaka" (Ka-Likee-Likee-Maka). No other version of "Cindy, oh Cindy" can top the german one by Margot Eskens.

Agree about the US influence - fast becoming an MTV driven society

One thing that pisses me off is the propensity ofAmericans (and Australians) to turn a statement into a question by intonation - when in fact there is no question at all !!
