Looks like I've got a good-lookin week ahead of me (ok, maybe two). I've been able to watch more movies lately, but recently the pillow factory has been needing a lot of attention.

Well I guess that is a priority for you, keeping the factory baking those pillows. Maybe 8-9 movies a day is a bit intense. I think the most I ever did for more than a day in a row was 5 per. Now I feel I have accomplished something if I see ONE, and stay awake.

THANK YOU sjijarto!!! (I used the dailyuploads.net link for a free and fairly fast download in the browser.)
[EDIT: The clicknupload link is even faster. See my post further below.]

Please let me say thank you as well, szijjarto. I also randomly chose dailyuploads, it is currently downloading for me in the browser. Did anyone else get some funky popups from that one?

I still have the 1080p 1.35gb .ts file from uloz. At first glance, the new 2.23gb file seems to be an noticeable upgrade.

I was only confronted with a basic "I'm not a robot" reCaptcha and no popups either funky or conventional.

(But then, I have two adblockers installed. One of them Chrome wants me to remove because it is no longer supported. Knowing Chrome, that probably means it is the GOOD one.)

EDIT: I have now found that after some interesting Captchas, the link at clicknupload is very fast, much faster than the one at dailyuploads.
Spoiler:

I avoided rapidgator because without Premium it does not work well for me.

Trying clicknupload now it has some VERY colorful and imaginative "I am human" Captchas before giving a link.

(They are mentally challenging but NOT a challenge to my eyes, like those damn Captchas that want me to differentiate between distant views of bicycles versus motor scooters in a tiny picture, or decide if it considers the rider's helmet to be part of the motorcycle.) The "slow" download was plenty fast enough and completed in about 10 minutes. This is with other activity going on in eMule, torrents, and JD2 direct-download.

At first I was annoyed that it seemed I did NOT have the uloz file saved in my archives. Once I downloaded szijarto's file, I could immediately see that I did not need the older file at all. This new version has restored video and proper English subtitles.

If they've managed to figure out a way to make those captchas even more slightly entertaining, then they ARE learning something! Once they figure out how to do that with real ads, we'll really be in trouble. And does a sliver of the bus count as the whole thing? Glad to see they're putting AI gen art to good use. :?

My basic adblock did not do the trick on dailyuploads.

To anyone interested in this film, it is a strange, abstract film, but not the discomforting sense. It is a pleasant experience.

I am sourcing the same file as Night over emule.

Which "they" do you mean? "They" USED to be able to do that with real ads in the good old days, but it required ad-men with creativity rather than computers. Here is a classic with football player "Mean" Joe Greene and a child:
Spoiler:

But that advertising did not brainwash me because I prefer Pepsi, and not because of Michael Jackson or Britney Spears.
My question is: if AI is used to create Captchas, how does solving a Captcha prove that a person is a person and not a bot? :think

No worries about my adblock, sir. I am just lucky there was no one else around when the pop up did its thing. Ahhh what am I saying? I am old enough now no one would have really cared.

I've thought of a few talking points about your question, Night. I fear I may detract the thread. I'll summarize and send the rest in PMs. :D I was considering "they" as the one who deal in setting up adverts and these captchas, and not the wholesome kind that you might still on television back in the day, but the pop ups that I wouldn't have even expected from that noodlemagazine place. On the other hand, supposedly, these "click the squares" captchas, in addition to helping prove you're human, also help train AI models, or so I am told. My thought is once ads/popups on websites are interesting enough to capture your attention, they'll have struck a turning point in advertisement and human interaction. But I am also still out of the loop in this area, meaning, maybe this has already happened and I am living it.

Meanwhile, with this film Värvilised unenäod, I am wondering if this is the type of strange, easygoing film that marvingray would like playing in the background at night. The laughing of a playing girl, time-lapse shots of the sky, playing in a field, spinning shots of a thicket. However, it does also feature frequent jarring images and sounds. I am curious to know what anyone else thinks.
