A quick question about downloads (complete?)

I downloaded versions 0.85 and 0.86 but apparantly I require an activation code. I thought it was free, but it keeps requesting the code. I have searched on the internet hoping to find an activation code I could use but with no luck.

Which versions are other people using? did you also require an activation code, and how did you get one? I have the option to phone a number with a code, but it requires 3 calls at 1.50 each which i'm not prepared to pay since I thought it was free.

Can anyone help?

It is free and there is no activation code.

Try downoading again from www.videolan.org (I think)
