When pasting links to topics it's better to strip the "&SID=blah" part of the URL, SID is short for Session ID and is used by the board software to do things such as show new posts since your last visit. Usually it doesn't matter but every once in a while I have had it cause weirdness (e.g. blank threads) so I usually chop it out.
