Hello! Have a Question

Post by Moonee »   2 likes

Hello, I joined at the start of the year but never posted until now. I wanna try to be a little active here
(Basically, I tumbled upon this forum trying to find a site to watch a short film)
Short Films can be hard to find sometimes lol

Anyway, my question is.. On the Home page with the list of forum categories, what's the difference between Releases (by country) and Requests (by country)?

Welcome to FLM! Releases have a posted ed2k link for a shared emule file. Requests do not have a posted ed2k link. If you are looking for a movie and it does not already have a thread, you can create a Request thread. When someone posts an ed2k link for a file shared on emule, a Moderator/Administrator will move the thread to Releases. If a movie is shared with a direct-download link or a torrent but not an emule link, the thread stays as a Request.

It sounds kind of arbitrary but FLM has its origins sharing by emule. It has become more flexible...
