Hopefully last help thread
Hopefully last help thread
Sorry about making all these help threads (idk if i should be replying in my existing help threads or just open up a new thread whenever i need help lol)
Got another 2 questions to be answered
1) So i know blue usernames are members, green is mods and red is admins.. But I've also been browsing around and seen black username colours, what does this mean?
2) Whenever I open up a REQ thread for a non-english title, does it matter whether i use the english title or the original language title in the thread's subject line?

Re: Hopefully last help thread
Opening it with the original title may help it be found more easily, but you can also write English next to it.
For example
Vuelven AKA Tigers Are Not Afraid
If you click on the link, both the original and English name of the movie are written. Titles can be opened in such films as the example I gave.

Re: Hopefully last help thread
Also, if you pay attention, in languages such as Japanese and Chinese, English can be used first and then the original text.
Thank you too.

If you're referring to the unlickable names, like the OP of this topic /forums/viewtopic.php?t=15201, those would be deleted accounts.Moonee wrote: Tue Jul 01, 2025 2:44 pm But I've also been browsing around and seen black username colours, what does this mean?

Edit: Not sure if double posting is allowed so I'm gonna edit my post
Another Question: It's fine to post in a really old thread right? like a thread that hasn't been posted in for the last 15+ years
Also, if I ever have any thoughts I want to share about a movie, hopefully it's fine to post them in the corresponding movie thread

DarkStar appears to be in a group called "Old Site". Yeah, I'm not sure, it's before my time. But maybe a user migrated from a previous version of FLM.Moonee wrote: Tue Jul 01, 2025 3:24 pm No

I don't think it would be a problem. Because I also wrote a message under the old titles. You can share your feelings and thoughts about the movie in the title. You can activate the seed by using the emule link of that movie. Of course, if you know how to use the emule program, it will be very easy.Moonee wrote: Tue Jul 01, 2025 3:24 pm

I agree with Unigami.
Original Title AKA English Title
is a good way to do it.
We prefer using Latin alphabet (a b c d e f g) rather than Russian, Greek, Chinese etc...
You can also list other alternate titles at the top of the post in the body of the text. That is a good place to include original titles in different alphabets. Super-long thread titles are not very helpful!
You can search FLM with the IMDB tt number from the IMDB URL, because almost all the movies have IMDB links. That way you find the thread even if it uses a different title.
I would have made the same guess DreamScape did about the "black accounts", that they were deleted. But with the additional information... maybe they also include long-inactive accounts, such as those from the original FLM site.
If you have more information, or files, or thoughts on a film then posting in old movie threads is perfectly fine. That allows people to discover films they might not know about.

Re: Hopefully last help thread
In 2011 we migrated to new platform and for technical reasons all users had to "activate" their accounts if they wanted to continue using the same nickname. "Black accounts" are users who did not activate their account within reasonable time, so those accounts are permanently inactive. Some of those users registered under a different nickname.
