Alona Jane Robbins makes it worth watching. The 2 girls have pretty much screen time.

So i'm assuming she's also deaf in this movie

Aryana Engineer -> Orphan - Resident Evil: Retribution - Dreaming of Peggy Lee (She has not continued acting for ten years.)
Millicent Simmonds -> Wonderstruck - A Quiet Place 1,2,3 - Bumblebees ...
Shaylee Mansfield -> Noelle - Feel the Beat - 13 Minutes - The Company You Keep ...

Actually, I'm glad that deaf people are also acting. I always wanted them to give opportunities to such people. *--*

Of all the actresses I mentioned, the one I like the most is Shaylee Mansfield.

Oh, and Moonee; you didn't make an ass outta yourself. You ASSumed correctly; her character is deaf.

The movie is pretty good.. It's a bit of tough watch in that the family's situation is bleak and it's a VERY slow-burn; so you have to watch them struggling through the bleakness.. But don't search out more information on the movie because (as I've found SOO many times:) the less you know, the better. I WILL give you ONE minor 'Spoiler':

Spoiler: Sometimes what you actually see is unreliable.

The girl DO have a good bit of screen time and they do a great job conveying the tension of their situation..

If you don't mind the slow build of the first half of the film (focus on the girls ), this movie is well worth your investment of 90 someodd mins..

That movie you watched was A Quiet Place: Day One, right? No. A Quiet Place: Day One (Not the third movie) is a prequel to the series. I'm talking about the sequel that will be released in 2027.
