Download from Youtube
Re: Download from Youtube
Yea, it's a browser extension
The problem is I've probably used it hundreds of times now and that was the first time it displayed a QR code in a video

Re: Download from Youtube
JDownloader2 does not work for everything, true, but for the sites it does work on it should be fairly easy. If you try it again and get an error you can post the error and the site in this subforum and maybe someone will have a suggestion. For awhile it was not working for YouTube for me but lately it has been fine. I guess it updated a fix. I have also used the VideoDownloadHelper browser extension and I do not think I have encountered QR codes myself.
Re: Download from Youtube
I've had mixed results with this site recently (and I use an ad blocker and script blocker so no idea how safe it actually is):
[Code] The aforementioned region-locked video is not available in my country, but on that site the 720p version downloaded- the 1080p option refused because of the region locking- and the 1440p option worked but gave me a 1080p video(with audio), go figure. No response with the 4K option, I'm guessing the video is not available in 4K in the first place.
The process has the site downloading the video then letting you download the result- Some worked fine, but some came out with a missing part at the end, a video that displays the complete total time but gets stuck if you reach the missing area. And when I try to download it again is just gives me the same saved file immediately. I assume it'll be deleted after a period of inactivity and then I could try again...(Update: That seems to take a day or two) It also managed to download an age-restricted video. (clicking on download again fixed the instances when I got an html instead of a video)
