What, if any, are the FLM policies about legal warnings?

What, if any, are the FLM policies about legal warnings?

Post by ttulog »   0 likes

By now, the vast majority of movies discussed on FLM shouldn't get you into any trouble with laws other than copyright laws. But a small and substantial share of movies- often the ones seen as very interesting by some people- might get you into much more serious trouble, depending on how strictly certain laws are interpreted where you live.

So, are there any forum rules about using warnings to distinguish the latter from the former?

Everyone is responsible for being aware of the laws in their own country. No one in any other country is responsible for it. The best source for indicating content that might be problematic is https://sensitivecontent.info/ and posting such a link in the thread is enough.
Spoiler:

This one has probably been banned in the most countries: https://sensitivecontent.info/movie.php?id=222 So if that is a concern for someone where they live then they should not download it and should not watch it.
Of course just plain porn is not allowed here in the first place. There are also some highly questionable movies that have been made off limits, such as porn that masquerades as educational material.

No, the spoilered topic is not the one I meant because it is actually here and most of the episodes were/are on YouTube. Although the presenter annoys and grosses me out personally, it really IS pretty much boring educational material.

And no, I am not going to list films that have been removed from FLM.

I did find this
Spoiler:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076749/pa ... rtificates

Don't click the link if you're uncomfortable reading sensitivecontent info for the movie Maladolescenza
The link doesn't list every country but this is the best I could find lol

The movie is truly banned in countries that says "Banned"

This one could arguably be implicitly banned in more: viewtopic.php?t=1136

I think people should be more careful about posting images with senstive content. even pixelation gives the wrong impression. Even when 12 auto generated images from a film are used for thumbnails - exclude anything with nudity. We don't want this site banned. Given so many films appear on millions of dowload sites, streaming sites, even youtube these days I doubt copyright issues is what would take down this site.
