I just wanted to let you all know.. I have a feeling some of you think Free Mega Accounts (or logged out users) download quota resets once a day

This is incorrect from my experience using Mega

Once you reach the Mega quota, you do NOT have to wait 24 hours to download more files

Mega quota resets after every roughly 4-6 hours (I think it might be 6 hours)

So yea, just something I thought you might all wanna know


Also, here's a cool tip for Pixeldrain -

You get given 6gb of quota per day.. This does NOT count toward your current download
So I use this to my advantage

So let's say for example, I want to download a 4gb file and I have already used 3gb (If I download the file, I'd exceed the 6gb quota)
Instead of downloading that 4gb file, I'd download several smaller files (Maybe short films or tv episodes) to get as close as possible to the 6gb quota (without going over)
Once I've gotten close enough to 6gb, I'd now go and download that 4gb file (Since I started the download before reaching the 6gb quota, my download speed doesn't decrease)

This way, you can download more files!

Thanks for that useful information.

TBH, I don't care that much about the Pixeldrain download limits, because the speed at which they still let me download after I've exceeded my daily download limit isn't that much slower than my internet connection's regular maximum speed anyway.

If I download a file before reaching 6gb, it takes me probably maxed of 15-20 minutes (Depending on the size of the file ofc)

If I download a file over the 6gb limit, it takes me more toward 1-2 hours

Yea, I try not to download when I've exceeded the 6gb limit


Also here's some important info you might wanna know

If you still download files when you've exceeded 6gb, it still counts towards your daily quota (So if you want your quota to reset completely the next day, don't download after you exceed the 6gb)
