What are the rules for signature pictures?
Re: What are the rules for signature pictures?
How about that, great minds think alike you two! I never thought about Signatures so I did not know exactly what to do, I just knew where the settings were. It has only been a little over a year that images could be hosted directly at FLM in its own storage that is not an attachment. Before that if members hosted their Signature image at one of the increasingly-unreliable sites that would have been annoying to them to have it disappear here. I never saw a Signature defaced with a dead image like I have seen for movie screenshots and I do not know how many people had Signatures in the first place, but still... Now this thread can serve as an instruction page for others on how to create one. If anyone asks I can just give a link to this thread.

I think I've had 1 or 2 dead images in my signature in the past I had to replaceNight457 wrote: Sun Sep 14, 2025 11:57 am I never saw a Signature defaced with a dead image like I have seen for movie screenshots and I do not know how many people had Signatures in the first place
I've also noticed Nasuada ocassionally has dead images in their signature as well

Re: What are the rules for signature pictures?
I specifically remembered Nasuada as having a .sig and so looked at one of those posts to try to figure out the upload site used. I suppose I do not browse through old threads much so I mostly see the new posts, when Nasuada has had time to fix or change a broken Signature and then everything is good again. Or I just have a bad memory.

I think I'll get myself a new signature pic: the girls from the I Miss Your Bones music video: viewtopic.php?t=12806

Pretty positive Nasuada uses imgbb (I remember seeing one of Nasuada's post a while back and in the sig was that horrendous ugly blue box)Night457 wrote: Sun Sep 14, 2025 12:42 pm I specifically remembered Nasuada as having a .sig and so looked at one of those posts to try to figure out the upload site used.
Sorry but I can't stand the gigantic blue box imgbb uses when a picture is dead
