IMDB gives a 2022 UK (United Kingdom) release date and nothing else, but of course that does not mean it came from there.

Yeah, the characters/actors did not sound british at all which is why I didn't go with UK

And most post-apocalyptic stories take place in the U.S. or Australia anyway, right?

Of course. Mad Max rules them all! But there are other Australia post-apoc movies. Please don't ask for titles, my memory ain't so hot for titles!

(Honestly I have also seen New Zealand, German, Italian, Soviet etc. movies in the genre.)
