I see you just joined us. Welcome!

The DVD is around 83 minutes long - but it's the same as the 87 minute theatrical cut. Movies on film typically use a 24 fps rate, while DVD (as in this case) more often uses 25 fps. In other words the frames of the film display at a slightly faster rate on the DVD. Going from 24 to 25 frames per second shaves about 4% off the total running time and 87 minutes turns into 83. No scenes were cut but the movie is slightly shorter - the audio is also a little higher pitched, but the human senses don't notice the video and sound speeded up because the effect is too small.

Here's some download links for anyone who wants the full DVD remux.

I renamed the file on my hard drive but it's the same one jezevex posted a few pages back:

If you prefer to use eMule then go there.
Thank you so much for your response and welcome! I thought it would take a long time to get a reply! But I noticed someone on this post said that the 83-minute DVD version is still cut from the original 87-minute version. I also found that many people said that the 83-minute version is still cut from the version they watched as children. So it's not just the frame rate that makes the length shorter, but the main reason is the content cuts. For such an old movie, there are still so many people discussing it. I feel very happy to join this big family.

There was some confusion because the file posted early in this thread was a 68 minute censored version, which definitely did have missing scenes. The difference between 87 minutes and 83 is entirely covered by the framerate conversion. 25 fps is 1/25, or .04 (4%) faster than 24 fps. Do the math if you want to verify the time difference for yourself.

There are a whole bunch of very similar movies out there. The entire Schulmädchen-Report series strongly resembles this one (there were 13 of them). And there are plenty more which are clearly patterned after that famous series. They all kind of blend together. So distant memories may not be reliable, people are sometimes remembering scenes from other movies. For example there's a scene in Freiheit für die Liebe (1969) with a 10 year old and 12 year old girl (real life sisters) that has been mistakenly identified as being from Frühreifen-Report.

I've found no evidence of material from this film shown in cinemas but not included on the DVD.

Does anyone have the film as an untouched DVD in ISO or VIDEO_TS folder?

If you can live without the DVD menus and would be satisfied with an MKV remux (not a recode), deadman posted it here:

If you really need the ISO maybe someone else can manage that.

I only want an ISO image, just like an original DVD; nothing should be changed and there shouldn't be a newly created DVD menu.
