[REL] The Forest (2016) [Thailand]
Re: [REL] The Forest (2016) [Thailand]
That is probably a framerate difference with SC using the faster 25 fps so the video would be shorter. I notice that the Tubi runtime is 5 minutes longer than the listed IMDB time. The less likely possibility is that Tubi got a special extended Director's Cut and just are not bothering to advertise the fact.

Oh, I wasn't paying attention to realise that Tubi is 5 minutes longer lol
Thanks!
(Apparently the movie says 1 hour 49 minutes on both IMDb and SC while Tubi has it as 1 hour 54 minutes)

The film on tubi.tv plays with 23,98 fps, the versions on Amazon or Netflix had a frame rate of 25 fps. That's all.

Of course. The movie I was referring to back then is called "Call Me Brother." It's a low budget comedy, but has a rather decent production. I loved it and I thought it was hilarious.

Just saying but I never use Youtube if a movie has a sensitive content (or R rated horror movies)
It's almost guaranteed that'll it'll be censored/edited/cut

When the movie is available for some sort of free, certified channel, then yes, that does seem to be the case. However, if you were to purchase or rent the full movie using youtube (the same way you would do it through amazon, etc), then it seems you get the full, uncensored version of the film. This is appears to be the case with Call Me Brother, anyways.
It seems that when a movie is shared over a uncertified channel, my experience is they have been the full versions, but they don't always stay up very long.

Would you know if this also applies to movies with green text saying "Free with Ads" on youtube? I’ve seen a few behind the scenes pictures of the movie and been trying to gather more material about it. Production videos, cut scenes, leaked images.
Does anyone have some?

That’s a nice find. From some of the screencaps on the facebook account you can see the quality is better than what’s available online. So there probably is some 4k or high quality 1080p version of the movie somewhere at least.
But there’s no way to buy it as disc right? Only streaming?
