Thanks for the help guys, didn't take long at all to download!
(Now maybe I should try REL something and see what happens but I think I might mess up)

Re: Step-by-Step eMule Setup
Even after 3 years, I still haven't figured out how to make the download faster. But honestly it doesn't really matter that much. I only download those movies with emule, that really interest me and are not available anywhere else.I'm willing to wait for those few opportunities
Re: Step-by-Step eMule Setup
You can't make it faster. Download speed always depends on how many sources a file has and on the upload speed they give.I still haven't figured out how to make the download faster.
Re: Step-by-Step eMule Setup
Speed also depends on id right? Like a highid would have faster download speeds than lowid users? or not necessarily?

Re: Step-by-Step eMule Setup
HighID vs. LowID only has to do with how easily a source can be found on eMule, not with how fast it is.
Those with HighID can be "found" by anyone else and can "find" anyone else, LowID or HighID. So they can upload to more people and have a potentially larger pool of sources to download from. With more sources, a download can move faster overall.

Re: Step-by-Step eMule Setup
I got a question
How does friends work exactly?
If someone adds me to their friends, is there a way to know if I got their Friend request?
Also, how do friends carry over (Like below as an example) -
Someone adds me to their friends on my current pc.. A few months later, I get a new pc and had to reinstall emule on the new pc (How would the friends transfer over to my new pc?)

Friends are stored locally in config files. I transferred mine over when I replaced my computer last year.Moonee wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:48 am Also, how do friends carry over (Like below as an example) -
