That's not possible at the moment

I can't really afford a VPN and I heard using a free one is not really a safe method

And I can't configure my router/modem because I don't own it.. I'm just using it in a house full of family members

And as far as I know, those are the only 2 methods of getting a Highid

(But yeah, I'm just risking it downloading piracy/copyrighted materials without the use of a vpn lol)

I downloaded "Mr. Thisforthat" from someone with HighID, and I assumed they got it from Moonee. Maybe they downloaded the file the exact same way that Moonee did and then shared it in emule. But Moonee's stats show that someone downloaded from him, for that file at least.

Ghost, if Moonee can not connect to your HighID then your client is probably banning him. That goes both ways, so you will not be able to download anything from him either. I suggest that both of you exit and then restart your emule clients. The test and proof of whether or not Moonee is successfully sharing is if a known HighID person can download something from him where he is the only source.

I have LowID and can sometimes upload. I really need to uninstall and then reinstall emule because damned if I can remember what I did in the first place! Technically speaking I can NOT make any changes to my router settings because that is not an option for my satellite ISP. But surely I did something about the ports in my emule client.

I have restarted eMule several times over the last few days and I even cleared my ban list. No success. My mule doesn't like Moonee's mule.

Yeah, I don't know what's the deal with me not being able to connect with Ghost

I have been able to download various FLM files on eMule so this confirms I can connect with other users on FLM

I just don't know why I can't connect to Ghost

I can still connect to ghost (last time I checked) and I have shown that I will re-upload some files to DDL...

Anyway, I did post a DDL for this Short film (which should be the exact same file as the eMule link) so someone can just download the DDL and put the file in their shared folder (which should make the eMule link in my post still work)

Unless this isn't how it works lol

But yea, I'm not doing anymore RELs until I at least manage to find a way to get a Highid which might take quite some time

Yes, the exact same file downloaded and reshared from a DDL source makes the same ed2k hash in emule.

I downloaded the pixeldrain link directly to my emule Incoming folder. But of course I have LowID so my sharing is limited.

You can make a Release with a file you downloaded from emule, because obviously there is at least one emule source.
