I think David meant searching for the retrospective 2021 documentary. But a link for the movie is a good thing!

Yes, the documentary. Seems like it's an extra for the film I'd be interested to see it.

It is perfectly fine to share it in this thread as a movie extra. As a stand-alone documentary with its own thread it sounds like it would be off-topic, because it is 40-somethings talking about that movie they did when they were kids?

They would be in their 40s now?

That makes this movie sound ancient

It is from the PREVIOUS CENTURY dude! Like they still hand-cranked the cameras, right?

Justin Pierce would be 50 now if he were alive. (Only appears in Archive footage in the documentary.)

Professional actress Chloë Sevigny from "Kids" and NOT in the documentary turned 51 this month.

It's said that the rating was NC-17 and was more explicit, and they cut some scenes and footage to get an R rating, and the question is.......
¿will the original cut ever be released?

The movie was rated NC-17 in the U.S. but released Unrated.
The film received an NC-17 rating from the MPAA (no one under 18 admitted). Clark appealed the rating, and lost. The MPAA recommend that Clark not cut the film because they felt it would lose some of its impact.
The film recieved an NC-17 rating in the United States, which caused controversy at Miramax Films. Their parent company, The Walt Disney Company, forbade the release of films rated NC-17. (It was later released in the United States unrated.) Alarmed, Miramax heads Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein created a one-off independent distribution company, Shining Excalibur Pictures, which handled the distribution. A similar situation happened with the Weinsteins for the release of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004).
The British Board of Film Classification insisted on 40 seconds being cut from the scene when a small boy wakes up on a sofa to find a girl being raped several feet away. This is due to British law that does not allow for a child to be in the same scene as simulated sex.
IMDB and Wikipedia agree here and usually they have information if a movie is cut.

It appears that the German, Japanese and Australian BluRays should be complete.
