This is as crazy a premise as I can recollect in recent memory. Thanks for the Christmas movie, I'll add it to my holiday watchlist! I have a spooky watchlist that I've been maintaining and a repository dump, too, if anyone is interested in seeing them.
I guess I'll have to download this file without jdownloader2
Depending on whether you want to, you can try to install the jdownloader2 add-on to your standard browser, and then click on open browser when the pop-up you're showing us appears. I don't know how trustworthy the jdownloader2 add-on is, though, so perhaps you might want to deinstall it again afterwards?
Moonee, I think you are right that the hotlinking restriction made the Captcha show up in JD2. When JD2 actually WORKS it works really well, so being blocked with JD2-unsolvable Captchas is annoying!
ttulog, you are right about the JD2 Addon. My problem is that I have NEVER had it work for solving Captchas! I have tried multiple times in Firefox and Chrome (I do not think in other browsers) and I click to go back to the browser from JD2 and it does nothing to solve it. JD2 says don't worry, the Captcha is solved, you can just start it again, and it brings up the Captcha block again. I have searched online for why this does not work but did not get an answer. I would welcome a solution if anyone has one. I don't download the huge number of pixeldrain links that Moonee does, but there are download sites that have Captcha all the time and I always have to download them in the browser.
