Re: Merry Christmas!
Thanks Infinity, merry Christmas to you as well.
I always have lofty goals for Christmas movies to watch during the holidays, but this is also the busiest time of the year for me, so often, by the time I get home, there is little time to enjoy everything I'd like to. But I managed to squeeze in a few. Hope you did, too. Besides some of the ones shared here, some good movie picks are "I want a dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown", "Ernest Saves Christmas", and "Jingle All the Way" (with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad).
To anyone reading this, I'd love to hear about you and yours.

Muppets Christmas Carol is good. Had a quite recent blu-ray release and is on Disney+pillowbaker wrote: Wed Dec 27, 2023 5:40 am Thanks Infinity, merry Christmas to you as well.

Merry Christmas! I haven't been around as much as I'd like lately, but the eternal film lover in me has missed posting here.
3 best FLM movies relevant to FLM I watched this year: She Rides Shotgun(2025), Aftersun(2022), Quiet Girl (2022) strong recommend for these 3.
My quirky choice for Christmas movie is the LotR films. I even rewatched The Hobbit trilogy, which I'd been quite down on, hadn't watched since release, and I found I MOSTLY enjoyed them. Especially the first 2 films. Alfrid Lickspittle really, really hurts the third film. It also tries to do the Gondor battle level of epic(aka The Battle of the Pelennor Fields), but I'm just not as invested in these characters as the lotr characters. Still, I was surprised I enjoyed them as much as I did. Then again, I often feel starved for traditional fantasy films, so I take what I get.
