It’s all just SD upscaled (not even Ai). For now the AI upscale version is the best one.

I'm a little surprised we haven't seen a bluray for this one. Sara is a well known movie in Poland, and not so risque that anyone would hesitate to release it on that basis. Seems like a no-brainer that whoever holds the rights would do it. And yet ...

Maybe they’ll do some Boguslaw Linda celebration set/edition in the next few years…

I reupped the links on my post here and added a pixeldrain: viewtopic.php?t=12182

I have yet to encounter a 1080p version that strikes me as a real improvement over the original DVD. They are all either AI upscaled versions of the PAL disc or HDTV broadcasts that are not true HD.

It still boggles my mind no one has released a bluray, and there isn't even a 1080p amzn web-dl of this film featuring one of the most well known actors in Poland (Boguslaw Linda). It would be like having a widely viewed and fondly remembered Arnold Schwarzenegger movie unavailable on streaming with no BD release existing or planned. I check periodically though, with fingers crossed.

I agree with everything deadman said and have not given up hope either.

My eyes are more and more tired these days and not really qualified to make hard comparisons. I think this newer "WEB-DL" torrent of unknown origin prior to ex-torrenty.org (as released to the public) is similar to the 1080p versions previously discussed.

I share it for the interested. [Code] or [Code] English subtitles:

For me the 11GB ai upscale I got has always been the best version. Sure it looks a bit „AI“ in some regards but it’s definitely an improvement over the dvd / hdtv I believe.
