From behind the old Iron Curtain, this story of childhood friends falling in love as they rehearse to play the title roles in a production of Romeo and Juliet features the beautiful Kareen Schröter (14-15 yo, depending on filming dates). Subtitles on my bluray rip are set to display automatically but they are not hardcoded. If you want to view any part of the film without those words in the way, you can always turn them off. 8-)

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

You should be able to extract them using 7-zip file manager.

Here's my own version. It's an improvement. Back in 2017 when I posted this to Usenet, I took the Untouched disc (which has no subtitles) and used a program some of you will know called multiAVCHD to add them. I also did the rest of my usual editing - removing copyright screens and stuff like that, so the main menu loads immediately. You'll notice all my DVD image files do the same thing. They jump directly to the main menu the instant they load. No copyright warnings, studio logo clips, or forced previews. No bullshit. Just the content.

If YOU had been in charge of DVD releases I would have never given up buying them and the studios would have made millions of more dollars in revenue. Their greedy obnoxious decisions forced me away.
