[Image]Tilda's days are strictly scheduled: studying, working at the supermarket checkout, swimming, looking after her little sister Ida (Zoë Baier) – and on bad days, her mother. The three of them live in the saddest house on Fröhlichstrasse in a small town that Tilda hates. Her friends are long gone, living in Amsterdam or Berlin, but only Tilda remains. Because someone has to be there for Ida, earn money, and take responsibility. There are no fathers to speak of, and her mother is an alcoholic. One day, however, things start to move: Tilda is offered a doctorate in Berlin, and a future that promises freedom glimpses into the sky. And Viktor shows up, the older brother of Ivan, whom Tilda lost five years earlier. Viktor, who – just like her – always swims 22 laps. But just when Tilda almost believes everything might be okay, the situation at home spirals completely out of control...
