i think its visually only very slightly better than the DVD5. Colors are the same. bitrate is not high enough to make it great in compare

You may very well be correct, but I understand upscaling software can only go so far until images start to look weird. I still appreciate ghost's offer. I admit, I did not compare between the two, I only watched ghost's upscale. Perhaps the quality of the DVD was already nice? Perhaps you'll be willing to keep the DVD5 archived for the time being?

You might as well download the posted TNT Links while they are still live if you want to archive the DVD5. Since I rewatched Warg's file recently, I have both the DVD5 and ghost's HD-upscale "archived".

Of course there is a big difference between the DVD and the upscale. Watch it on a big screen.

But eyes are different. Everyone can keep the version he prefers.
