According to the AI, it says that there is no official release date for Shed (2025) on DVD or major streaming platforms yet, so it is not known when it will be released, I hope within this year. Anyway, that actor John Jarratt, the one who kidnaps the little girl in this film, and the one who made the film Wolf Creek 1 and 2 many years ago, I honestly didn't recognize him, now I noticed him.

Does anyone know which streaming service, and what the availability is? Is this an Australia-only release or a global premiere on Netflix or Shudder? We'll see a web-dl regardless but it may take a few days. Assuming this release date is accurate and not just a rumor.

Other films from Steven J. Mihaljevich all has been released on Prime Video USA. I don't think we'll see it on Netflix.
But you're right: The streaming service doesn't matter. As soon it will be released a web-dl will appear within a few days.

We have to wait a little longer.
It's past jan 20th and I'm still waiting..

I got this from google ai

"Steven J. Mihaljevich's film Shed had its world premiere at Screamfest 2025 on October 12, 2025, in Hollywood, with its Australian release anticipated for 2026 through Label Distribution and screenings at the 2026 WA Made Film Festival in Perth. "

It doesn't specify when in 2026 :(

Well, that film festival goes through March 1st so it would have to be sometime after that. If they're planning a run in cinemas then hopefully the streaming release will be simultaneous. Otherwise it could be summer or even later by the time it happens. We're basically in the same place as a year ago. It's coming ... in the near future, not sure exactly when. At least we know it's being released. This won't be one of those films that does the festival circuit and then disappears without a trace. We'll see it eventually.

Great news guys!!

I asked Google AI for information on when this film will be released, and it said it will have its national debut at the (WA Made Film Festival) on February 20th, with a special screening followed by a Q&A with the cast.

The film will be released in Australian theaters between March 12th and 13th.

Streaming probably

Renting, doubt it

Renting comes before streaming.. Normally films becomes available to rent online at most of 1 month after it releases in cinemas (So my guess is sometime in April)

Anyway, buy your cinema ticket. ;) You don't have to travel to the other side of the globe.
