[REL] Akademia pana Kleksa (2023)
Re: [REL] Akademia pana Kleksa (2023)
I was confused why netflix listed an extended version in "More to Explore" when I typed up kleks academy (Unfortunately netflix doesn't have the extended version..)

Netflix also lists Kleks Academy 2 in More to Explore.. This is the reason why I went hunting for the sequel (I originally didn't realise there was a sequel)

It also has a third sequel, but that may be in the filming. In the ending credits of the second one.

it's quite funny that a 37m50s ep has over 6 minutes of credits at the end + 1 minute of logos at the beginning! Think of them as 30minute episodes! 20% is credits.

It's sort of depressing how many people worked on the film, how hard they tried to turn the franchise into Poland's Harry Potter, and in the end, failed so badly.David32441 wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 2:40 pm it's quite funny that a 37m50s ep has over 6 minutes of credits at the end + 1 minute of logos at the beginning! Had strong Harry Potter vibes, kids going off to a school. Can tell from the start the budget must be high - they going to film in 5 or more locations, build a strange Japanese dojo, a south American bar, and a few others, each for a 1minute scene at the beginning! Crazy $! And yeah, have a slightly creepy round man with long eyebrows jump around weirdly! Was he supposed to be a bird? I'm sure I'll eventually watch the rest - but that was my impression after first 10mins.DreamScape wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 5:44 pmIt's sort of depressing how many people worked on the film, how hard they tried to turn the franchise into Poland's Harry Potter, and in the end, failed so badly.David32441 wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 2:40 pm it's quite funny that a 37m50s ep has over 6 minutes of credits at the end + 1 minute of logos at the beginning! I read the book when I was a kid. Don't remember the details, but sounds like the film is only loosely based on the book if at all
