Actually, I changed my mind

Normally I'd rather the original version over upscales but this upscale definitely beats the original version

Edit: I'm redownloading emule by the way, I'm sick and tired of all these Direct downloads going dead and I'm needing to ask for a reupload :(

I archive originals but almost always will prefer ghost's upscales, especially when it corrects a problem. I am not obsessively devoted to higher resolution in all cases. When I have an excellent BluRay version of a movie, then I dismiss torrented 4k Upscales as excessive.

I think what puts me off with the original version is the aspect ratio

It's quite bad in my opinion

That's funny! I have been thinking about uninstalling emule and deleting all the video files from my laptop. :|

Aspect ratio can be adjusted during playback in VLC. For the distorted original,
VLC > Video > Aspect Ratio > 16:9
