I already had my free flixlatino trial, so I would have to pay for it. Sorry.

Only worthwhile if you have a bunch of movies lined up that you really want, and can't get elsewhere. That's the only time I'd do it even if I had the right software.

I don't see the point of subscribing to Amazon Prime if I can't download movies from there, but only watch them online

The problem for the downloaders is that subscribing to Amazon Prime is not enough. There are all the specialty channels under the Amazon umbrella, and they cost money too! It just costs too much to keep getting more channels. :(

I have checked to see if a WEB-DL.AMAZ upgrade or the like has appeared on torrent or emule but I have not had any luck. I don't see anything at clan-sudamerica.net either, but I am not a member so I am not logged in and might be searching it wrong.

Yes, you're right, I couldn't find the HD version online or on torrent sites either, only DVDRip is available, but that version isn't very good quality, it lacks sharpness. Well, maybe there is an HD version somewhere on Latino sites or movie forums, but I don't really know any Latino sites

We don't need Amazon Prime Video.
It's here: https://flixlatino.com/en/movies/flor-de-fango

I made a trial account and downloaded the video. They only have Spanish subtitles.

I keep trying to convince myself "We don't need Amazon" PERIOD.

Is the flixlatino site also protected against normal downloading like Amazon is, and needs your special software? Or is it wide open to standard downloading such as with yt-dlp? Or did you just go ahead and use the industrial strength tools anyway because you CAN? I am curious. I never know when a free trial might be useful.

Well, it's a pay streaming service. You can imagine that you can't simply download their movies.
