after witnessing her parent's murder, 10-year-old Ally is locked up in a mental hospital. Still committed a whole decade later, poor Ally now a young woman is subjected to the wrath of an evil nurse and put on many experimental medications. The more drugs she is forced to take, the closer she gets to understanding what happened to her family 10 years prior.

Very little info is available about this movie which I found while looking for something else. Don't know how much on-screen time there is for Victoria Adams who plays Ally age 10. There might be flashbacks. Perhaps someone with more bandwidth, more disk space and more time will download this and give us a proper review.

I got this since my downloads were ebbing, even though I am not a fan of the genre.

The quality of the rip is indeed terrible, such a soft filter that it looks perpetually out of focus (though the movie is so low-budget that maybe it was shot that way ) The little girl is cute but has only around 5 minutes of screen time and a handful of lines; most of the movie takes place 10 years later. And it's all pretty violently bloody, much more up Debaser's alley than mine.

I recommend leaving this here for a week so people can see my comments or add their own and then deleting it from FLM.

Thanks for the feedback. However, if the post is deleted, (yes, we've had this discussion before ) anyone looking for this movie later on will not get the warning and waste his time and bandwidth. I vote we leave posts for poor movies where they are. Negative comments are just as useful as positive ones.

The "non-interest" section suffered from significant confusion as to its purpose. It started out as a section to warn people about films they shouldn't waste their time on, and morphed (for lack of a better place) into a section to post films which were close but didn't quite qualify for posting in the main forum (for example because the character is young but the actress is actually 17) but which someone here believes others would like.

Personally I would support two new forums, one for each purpose. It's good to have a forum to which to move posts which were requested or even released but ended up not being relevant to FLM. I also wouldn't mind seeing slightly-off-topic film recommendations from users here, as long as there is some information regarding the film and why it's worth my time, and it's at least somewhat related to FLM. I have learned the tastes of many posters here and respect their judgement and would like to see their recommendations, as long as they were somewhat consistent with FLM.

In the end, it's up to the admins to decide stuff like this. Anyone who proposes a new forum truly believes it would make FLM better, but it's certainly a balancing act potentially increasing complexity or admin work.

I agree with you, FLL. This kind of thing is highly subjective; one man's dud might be another man's diamond.
You like football, I like cricket, but we both like watching tennis.

An alternative to a separate forum might be a rating system based on viewers' recommendation (something like IMDB), but I'd like to be able to search for movies with a rating higher than a particular value, and/or be able to sort by rating.

Someone started a thread about highly recommended movies, which was an excellent idea, but it kind of degenerated into a free-for-all. Maybe an admin should start a topic like that, with a list of the best movies in the initial post, and viewers comments (free-for-all) later, but the admin can edit his initial post from time to time and update the list accordingly so it remains current and relevant.

I also agree, especialy with that bit.

Admin has already discussed it, and the conclusion was that this forum is for childhood movies only - the end!
