I think we have a problem with the way the site is configured. I visit two other sites a lot more often than I visit FLM and my usage there is 9 MB and 4 MB, whereas with FLM I have crossed 38 MB for the same period - the first 24 days of June.

Can someone check whether the components that make up the pages here are being cached by the browser and retrieved from the cache on subsequent visits?

Nice question from an admin
Yup, admin, not a host.
Now If I were a host, I probably would understand such tiresome things.

Anyway, thanks for info.

Nice one ghost :dance

I don’t see a problem getting donations.

Just think how much money people are saving on DVD's lol.

Hell, im broke, but I couldn’t a afford to be without FLM!!

Perhaps do another donation topic as before, explaining what has happened and why.

It doesn't matter anymore.. We are on 10 GB/month now.

And don't forget: we got about 92.000 hits in june so far!

Thanks mongo ;)

10GB may seem a lot, but I'll bet you this month we go wayyy above lastmonth's usage. Looking at things that have changed recently, I agree with EM, the likely suspects are the Avatars and the posts with pics. That is not to say they should be stopped, merely that we need to find out if this is the cause, and then, as I sugested before, embed only the links to the ics, not the pics themselves.
