how do you do this ?

Post by deadarise »   0 likes

I download eMule v0.48a and playing around with it but still don't know how to do it. I just type "hounddog" to download a video but it said "waiting" this is taking forever! I am using internet cable.

If its taking forever then it sounds like everything is working just fine :)

Seriously though, just read all the FAQ's on this forum, your questions and more have been asked and answered 100x already.
eMule will be slow, especially until you have a good credit rating.
We could spend all night telling you about eMule, but its already written in this forum and a ton of other help sites.

BTW, what hounddog are you trying to download?

Try to download movies with plenty of sources. Not always possible, of course, given that our tastes lean towards rare and hard to find movies. If there are very few sources, add more movies to the download list so that while some are waiting, one or another is transferring.

About the waiting: expand the file (double click) to show the sources. Look at the QR number next to each source. This number shows your place in the queue of that source. When the QR becomes 0, you get your turn.

Stay connected for long periods at a time. Disconnecting makes you lose your place in the queues, so some waiting after a restart is expected.

If you have LowID, try to fix it. Much less waiting for HighID clients.
