(Feb. 17) -- NEW YORK (AP) - Lindsay Lohan is following in the footsteps of the most famous blond bombshell of them all - Marilyn Monroe.

In the issue of New York magazine on sale Monday, the 21-year-old star of "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" poses nude for photographer Bert Stern in a recreation of one of Monroe's most famous photo shoots, done shortly before she died. :drool

Yeah, she does this now, why couldn't she have done it 7 or 8 years ago when she was much cuter? :biggrin

My thoughts exactly. A photoshoot of the skinny-dipping scene in The Parent Trap would have been great. :icon_1dancingban Now, all I can say is: Gross! :bigups

Yes. Wishful thinking on my part - I wish it had been immortalized, and glorified in a photoshoot. Would be interesting to see the raw footage of that scene. Those editing guys have all the fun. LOL :icon_1dancingban

Nice pics, btw. NOT! Good thing Marilyn Monroe is already dead, otherwise seeing these pics would certainly have killed her. LOL

I guess by now you all know that I'm not a fan of the grown up Lindsay Lohan.

Couldn't they have at least done something to mute the brightness on those damn two chipmunk front teeth of hers??? That's the first thing my eyes are drawn to; NOT the roses like they're supposed to. ;)

Seriously, they are sad to look at...

I know Lindsay says that they are a 'tribute' to her idol, but they come across to me as a pathetic attempt to equate HER beauty with that of Monroes', and she just doesn't have it!!

Of course, that's just my opinion... :wall
