Strange behaviour

Post by abel »   0 likes

Today I was checking my downloads, and discovered that two files, already downloaded for 100% show message "Not enough disk space for downloading". Checked it, but on all my discs is plenty of space. I´ve sent several downloaded and burned files into garbage (and cleaned garbage bin), no change. Any idea what might be the cause?

OK, closing and re-opening of eMule helped.

You can also right click such files and select 'initialize' or whatever it is your client calls it, after you have made room for the files in question. Saves you the restart. ;)

Keep in mind that you might have set different folders for the files to complete to (destination folders) which might be on a partition that doesn't have enough free space, even though there is plenty of space on the partition on which eMule is installed. Or that drive might not be available (removable/external drive).

Also, if you have several hard drives (physical) and the destination folder is an another drive (not your main/system drive), power saving options might be turning that drive off to save power.

Huh, so many possible causes! Nevertheless, restart helped.
