Rapidshare links to Satyajit Ray's movies.

As mentioned in the title, I have found some Rapidshare links to Satyajit Ray's movies. If anyone is interested, I shall post them. You guys with great speeds and RS premium accounts should be able to get them much quicker than via eMule.

Nope. No complaints on the board I found them on, though.

They are in split RAR form, so download a few MB of the first RAR, open with WinRAR, extract using the option to 'keep broken files' and you'll have your preview very quickly.

Certainly not. He was a great director. His movies have achieved cult following among people who appreciate good cinema. His attention to detail and his quirky insight into what made his characters tick are what make him great.

What makes him interesting for FLM is that the dress worn by little girls of that region, period and economic class was skimpy. He did not go out of his way to show them like that - no exploitation - but that was how they dressed, so that was how he showed them.

I am a little uncertain about this forum's policy regarding non ed2k links, hence this post in the general section. Depending on your connection speed and how well Rapidshare works for you, these are a quick and easy download. Rapidshare links don't last very long, so get them whhile you can. However, a search for Sayajit ray on ed2k will give you plenty of links.

Well, you know I am only kidding about the gay remark. However, I ran each of the movies you listed at both Rarefilms and Imdb. Rarefilms only listed one of his films [that I could see] and it only mentioned boy nudity. And several at Imdb made reference to son and mother relations. I don't mean to be a sour puss about this, but are there any clear references to his exploits we can read about on the web? [Excluding Wikipedia, of course.
