rmt@36: it is something local at your end. I'm using Firefox and I can log in here without difficulty. Check your privacy/cookie settings. :think

Art is right - could be one of your add-ons. I'm using imglikeopera, adblock plus, flashblock, flashget, paste and go 2, piclens, british english dictionary, and talkback, so you can count these out. Look at the rest; disable them one at a time until you get through. Tools> add-ons.

Thanks for helping, I turned off every single add on and I got the same result.

I removed firefox and reloaded it and I still have the same problems.

When I get to the privacy tab in options, what do I need to look for in the cookies section.

Hopefully I can get this rectified, as IE sucks(did I mention this before[lol]).

Thanks for any help given.

Which firewall are you using? Is there something there about sending unencrypted data?

In FF options:

1. privacy> cookies: accept cookies from sites; keep until they expire. Check that there are no instances of first-loves in the exceptions list.
2. in options> content, check to see if javascript is enabled.

My firewall is with Norton Internet Security 2008.

This is all that keeps coming up:
Warning: your browser doesn't send the HTTP_REFERER header to the website.
This can be caused due to your browser, using a proxy server or your firewall.
Please change browser or turn off the use of a proxy
or turn off the 'Deny servers to trace web browsing' in your firewall
and you shouldn't have problems when sending a POST on this website.

I have done the options thing and Javascript is enabled.

Anything else I can do.

Thanks for helping me out. I feel we are hopefully getting closer.

Try disabling the firewall in Norton Internet Security (for testing ONLY - please turn it back on as soon as you're done testing) and see if that makes a difference.
