AFRICA ADDIO (1966) [Italy]
Re: [REL] AFRICA ADDIO (1966)
If you take this release on its own you are probably right, but just like the Schulmadchen Report series - the later episodes had some of the same girls all grown up, and would not have been considered FLM material in their own right - since the earlier ones in this set of documentaries were OT (and pretty disgusting
) this one qualifies too.
However, what I am moaning about is that this one does not measure up (or down
) to the 'standards' of the earlier two. There are topless African girls in this, some of them 15 or younger, but it's very National Geographic kind of stuff.

Re: [REL] AFRICA ADDIO (1966)
Hey no problem...i was thought that these type of docs was OT apparently out of colour of skin...in this doc the "african girls" are growning up before the "european girls" mostly are under ....
but concerning the movie if is consider OffTopic it can be delete without problems...
my post "I don't understand....you're criticizing what??? " was referred a question between the quality of video and the style of doc...I was understood this...

No offense ART. I still like it. Only, your earlier docs kind of spoilt us. If you had released this one before the others, I'd have liked it better, but the others raised my expectations
too high.
too high.
Re: [REL] AFRICA ADDIO (1966)
Hmm not a bad idea to my opinion.. Maybe an Off Topic Forum for movies with acresses >15y would be a good ideainfiniter wrote:I didn't see this one and I also never intend to download it, but I would say that one can criticise everything. Not only that the topic of the movie is absolutely wrong here, the girls are again, uhm... too old? We once had this discussion. Some people around here seem to stretch the word "coming-of-age" up to where they want to. 18 or something.ARTHORIUS wrote:I don't understand....you're criticizing what???
I'm no admin, but I already suggested and I always will, that the forum should have a limit for what type of movies are released here and a defined maximum age of 15, like the japanese U15 idol boards. This is a clean seperation between old and off-topic and young and nice.
Just my opinion.

i am not offensed...don't worry...only, when i post movies they are obviously under judgement of other members. Then if the movie is not conforming with FLM policy, ok, others admins
are free to delete the post without problems

Re: [REL] AFRICA ADDIO (1966)
Personally if a girl older than 15 is portraying a younger girl realistically enough I don’t see the problem.
After all, the subject itself will be OT!
Obviously if the said girl does look to old then yes, put it in an off-topic section.
Its always going to be a grey area though!
Dozens of releases in FLM will suddenly be made off-topic, dozens of films that most members here don’t class as off-topic.
For example; Anna in Den Åttonde dagen was 15, and most people here would suggest that film is very much OT.
I have always been in favour of an off-topic section, but would suggest making the ages a minimum of 16+ for the above reason.

Just because they're older doesn't mean we stop admiring them.
