Falsche Bewegung with 15yo Nastassia Kinski

Review Summary
The Wrong Move and The Wrong Movement were the English-language titles for German director Wim Wenders' Falsche Bewegung. Made for television, the film is an update of Goethe's Wilhelm Meister. Ruediger Vogeler plays aspiring writer Wilhelm Meister, who goes on a long odyssey in the woods in search of truth. His companions on this journey are pragmatic Therese (Hanna Schygulla), bisexual Mignon (Nastassja Kinski, billed under her real name, Nakszynski), Mignon's hippielike boyfriend Laertes (Hans-Christian Blech), and artistically bankrupt poet Landau (Peter Kean). The foursome accept the hospitality of an industrialist (Ivan Desny), who unbeknownst to all but himself is a deeply troubled ex-Nazi.

Are you sure this is in the original language? Not that it matters to me, of course, but one of the alternate names for this file is Falso Movimento. :bigups That seems Italian to me, but then Art would know. ;)

For sure, the censors are nuts. :bigups Underage boobies, and the certification is Brazil:12 | West Germany:12 (f) | Singapore:PG. Go figure. :think

Perhaps things were different back then. I remember when I first saw Walkabout, it was shown under a 12 certificate too.

There is some confusion about whether Nastassja Kinski was 12 or 13 at the time this movie was filming. I haven't been able to find exact production dates. All I can say for sure is that she turned 14 just two months prior to the release date.

She's actually thinking of filing a lawsuit to get this movie yanked from distribution, just like she's done with Tatort E73 ''Reifezeugnis''. Of course, it's already been released on bluray so good luck with that. Bottle. Genie. All Nastassja is accomplishing here is to call attention to an obscure film hardly anyone would watch otherwise. Could that be the real point? Is she simply trying to drum up publicity?

By the way, the full BD remux is here if anyone wants it:
