[REL] In Her Mother's Footsteps (2006) (TV)

Post by terry666 »   2 likes

From http://imdb.com/title/tt0844008/ :
Soon after Kate moves into the house she inherits from her father, she begins to see strange images of young women being murdered. At first it appears as if she's losing her mind, but Kate soon discovers that her visions may be hereditary. As this young mom begins to piece together the mystery behind her new haunted home, she realizes that not everything is as it seems. Each clue she gathers in solving this puzzle brings her - and her daughter - another step closer to danger!

Here's another movie that is new to emule, and brought to you through the meticulous study of my local TV listings. Unfortunately, Matreya Fedor (seen below) only has a small role in this film, and she's barely seen in the second half.

Recommended for avid collectors only.

AKA: Deadly Inheritance

imdb link:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0844008/

Synopsis:
Soon after Kate moves into the house she inherits from her father, she begins to see strange images of young women being murdered. At first it appears as if she's losing her mind, but Kate soon discovers that her visions may be hereditary. As this young mom begins to piece together the mystery behind her new haunted home, she realizes that not everything is as it seems. Each clue she gathers in solving this puzzle brings her - and her daughter - another step closer to danger!
This movie's actually listed as being a USA/Canada production, but I placed it here because of the presence of Matreya Fedor [ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1880647/ ] the lovely young boy [ ;) ] from FLL's recent release, 'No Bikini'.

Thanks again to FLL for bringing Matreya to our attention. I've found 4 of her movies on DVD and excited to find this one available.

You're welcome, kev! I never even thought of checking for other credits for Matreya, since so many shorts are made with otherwise unknown actors and actresses.

If this release looks a bit familiar to anyone... a SATRip of this movie was [REL]eased back in November by terry666 before his implosion and exit from the board. He decided to put it in the United States forum.

DAMN!!

I REALLY hate FLM's 'Search' machine!!! When I checked before posting, I guess I looked hurriedly at the long list that popped up and didn't notice it. What gripes me is that when I just searched now; MY post came up first, but terry666's is WAY down the list!

Why is that?? It SHOULD be either right on top of or right under MY post!! I assume that it was probably there, too when I searched the first time and I just didn't pay attention because it was so far down. :wall

And what IS with the other posts that are in the list?? I see WITHIN certain posts that specific words are highlighted, like 'footsteps' and 'mother's' while in other posts the size of the ed2k links are highlighted [Example: (699MB's) ]. I guess they are searching as requested: *Search for any terms or use query as entered
*Search for all terms

Maybe that's good for someone that doesn't know the exact name of a movie, but you would think that when you DO enter the EXACT name that everything fitting THAT description would show up first on the list.... grrrr...

Sorry, just ranting!! Anyway with all due respect to terry666's post, no one responded there, so I'll repost his link and pix here:

The posts in the list are by default ranked by time of last post. You can change it via the dropdown, but it's a pain to do every time, and "relevance" isn't an option. This isn't Google with thousands of servers, it's a simple little php script...

In my experience, "Search for all terms" simply doesn't work properly anymore. I usually pick the single most uncommon word in the title I am looking for and enter that one word, otherwise a bunch of extra posts get selected which obscure what you really want. In this case searching for just "footsteps" would have shown a short list where the earlier release was easily visible.

Thanks FLL, that's good to know. Tried searching another title, using the entire title [which popped up a ton of shiite], then just typed in a main, more specific word and came up with a MUCH shorter list [STILL some weird entries ;) ] and the title I was looking for was VERY apparent.

Good to know how to manipulate the system! :thumbsup

Geeze, that really ticks me off! I don't know how long it takes to d/load the subs, but you might try again as I've added another file to the RAR that was in my original download, but I had removed it because I didn't recognize it's ?format?... It's listed as: 'subs-ihmf-xvid-reserved.sfv' .

I believe it's an 'sfv' file... I don't know though and it might not be of any help. But DAMN! I can't believe that English subs aren't there!!!! :(

Sorry, guys....

It's possible to find this release posted in several places on the net with the original .nfo file by the release group RESERVED, and it says "English Audio, Polish subtitles". That's all. And I can't find a DVD image or other subs, though I can find someone selling a DVD with English closed captioning, so it does exist.
