Be careful - Russian links often have that ghastly Russian voiceover.
Re: **MOVIES RAR**
1. German movies are copyrighted up to 70 years after the death of the director.
2. Apart from claims of the copyright holder, violators have to face a term in jail of up to 5 years.
3. I don't think it to be a good idea to upload a German movie on a server in Germany operated by a German company.
4. I don't think it to be a good idea to post these links on a Germany-situated board full of Germans.
I was last year fined with 6 000.-€ for violation of copyrights, i.e. software. But there was also a discussion about this very board.
So do not be in doubt wether there are LEA-people among our members; they are!
You, Sir, endanger this board without any necessity!

Point is, this forum resides in Germany, is sure as hell monitored by the German police and ghost is German.
We have a moron roll-back concerning sex in Germany. They are going to establish thought control. Hell, i was fined with 6000 € for possession of "Maladolescenza"!
Cool, what did they say?idler wrote:But there was also a discussion about this very board.
hmm, i really don't think this board is that important, i mean we only have a handful of regular members / posters, the majority of film info posted here concerns films that would more likely be considered classics or rare films that would make minimal or no profit for producers or anyone anymoreidler wrote:So do not be in doubt wether there are LEA-people among our members; they are!
i would hope LEA are looking at more important problems on the inet at the moment, i could list them but a simple glance through a national paper on almost any day of the week will suffice to clarify what they are

Well I agree direct share links are more risky and really should not be posted here without due cause, i.e. no emule link, version on emule is of lower quality / incomplete etc...
Re: **MOVIES RAR**
Rich, you don't understand: I was fined with 6 000 + 6 000 + about 4 000 trial costs. I still have to do 4 years paying rates. And they are working on a more rigid legislation.
Guess I have the most expensive version ever of MS Office on my notebook.

Direct DL without pass protection can be risky, however, as mentioned, these are certified Imdb films. Furthermore, Admin are not responsible for content posted by their members. It is a public forum, the responsibility falls on each of her members.
Ok, now what is a -€ Idler? And didn't you just tell us you were pirating a $16,000 Maya program. How many -€ is $16,000?
The language appears to be German Emuler.

Re: **MOVIES RAR**
U C, possession of unlicenced software is perfectly legal in Germany; you might have found it, lend it, bought it at a flea market... For a copyright violation, they have to prove that you actually copied it. As a matter of fact, you do that, when you install a program. So if you install a proggy, you better get rid of the CD it was on...I happened to have an unlicenced MS Office 2003 installation on my PC and the appropriate DVD.Amadeus wrote:Ok, now what is a -€ Idler? So don't tell me I were pirating any programs. You don't know what I want to do with it!

correct! but we would at least like to try and direct people to the safer option. and yes, we could argue all day about the safest method for fileshare, but this is an emule link forum, which incidently has survived since the beginning of 2004... without direct download linksAmadeus wrote:Direct DL without pass protection can be risky, however, as mentioned, these are certified Imdb films. Re: **MOVIES RAR**
and anyway the safest method of file share is not necessarily the safest method of file share... that is sharing over an encrypted network such as freenet or via encrypted / PW protected files / messaging only arises suspicion and investigation
i would hope the majority of members here have nothing that important to hide that it requires these types of protection... just a thought
