What Debaser is looking for is avi to DVD conversion, and Nero Recode (bundled with Nero v7 and up) is pretty good at that provided you just want that - no frills like menus, chapters, scene selections, extras... :wall Keep in mind that the DVD format is already rigidly specified - to ensure that the DVD will play in all DVD players, those standards must be adhered to.

C'mon guys! Scroll down to the next thread. ConvertXtoDvd will do precisely that & must be pretty easy to use 'cos I'm a complete fucktard! I've even posted a stable release that I'm still sharing. Yes........Nero will do it but it's pants although I do use it for final burning to DVD & shrinking DVD 9. Trust me on this one......I quite often talk shite but bearing in mind I transcode EVERYTHING & archive it to DVD in this case I may just be right! :)

Cheers!

I have always liked your edits. However, the link you posted is not showing any sources, and I've been on it ever since you posted it. :wall

Just checked. You're on KAD. :cool

Strange.....you're downloading it from me right now!
To be fair, I've only just got in from work & noticed your new EM id. That now also has a friend slot :)

Yup, definitely after no thrills!

I’m talking about mainstream popular movies that (for example) will have no subs.
I don’t care about menus etc. I just want to whack the disk in the DVD machine and hit play!

Anything else (like what we share here) never gets played on my DVD player. Such things are for my PC viewing only ;)
