Jesus Camp follows several young children as they prepare to attend a summer camp where the kids will get their daily dose of evangelical Christianity. Becky Fischer works at the camp, which is named Kids on Fire. Through interviews with Fischer, the children, and others, Jesus Camp illustrates the unswerving belief of the faithful. A housewife and homeschooling mother tells her son that creationism has all the answers. Footage from inside the camp shows young children weeping and wailing as they promise to stop their sinning. Child after child is driven to tears. Juxtapose these scenes with clips from a more moderate Christian radio host (who is appalled by such tactics), and Jesus Camp seems to pose a clear question: are these children being brainwashed?

Is this a request?.........forthcoming release?.....
Various versions are available on eMule so maybe you'd like to verify & release.
For some strange reason I've got this DVD (why, I don't know.......I certainly wouldn't have paid good money for this nasty little documentary) & as a last resort could rip & release.

Apparently like others here I became aware of this but after seeing reviews etc. decided I wanted nothing to do with it, it would likely be too aggravating to watch. I suspect this thread is testing the waters for that very reason. I'm perfectly Ok without a release

Definitely no testing the waters thread. I was browsing for suitable films and noticed this one. Starting this thread was meant to show how strange children can be 'educated'.
The original post had RS links and it's available on eMule too. Posting no links was fully intended.

Comments like this simply make me want to disconnect this woman's electricity supply.imdb
Becky Fischer: It's no wonder, with that kind of intense training and discipling, that those young people are ready to kill themselves for the cause of Islam. I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam. I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine and all those different places, you know, because we have... excuse me, but we have the truth!
Becky Fischer: I can go into a playground of kids that don't know anything about Christianity, lead them to the Lord in a matter of, just no time at all, and just moments later they can be seeing visions and hearing the voice of God, because they're so open. They are so usable in Christianity.
We Brits are a strange lot but we don't entertain this sort of rubbish.
Yes........I watched this but won't be doing so again!

I watched this and have watched it a few times since. If you ask me it borders on child abuse.
Fancy telling children they are sinners, trying to scare them with threats of hellfire.
Dragging them out into the street to "promote" the religion.
These kids are being raised as little robots. Or even worse future religious terrorists. As the pastor states, we have to make them willing to die for their religion.
Someone should be stepping in in that place.
