What do you do when your best friend is a rat called Halvorsen, and all the other kids think rats are disgusting? Svein and his buddy, Dan, are on their own until the new girl in class, Melissa, suggests they should participate with their rats in the big annual pet contest. But Halvorsen runs away, and the papers claim that both the hospital and schools have to be closed down because of a rat invasion. If Mom and Dad find out it is all because of Svein and Halvorsen, not only the contest will be at stake. Svein also risks losing Halvorsen!

I used to have a pet rat too, only it was hairless. One of the ugliest little rodents you ever laid eyes on but I loved Benny [named after Willard's...] soooo much!

Unfortunately they have a very short life span [around 2 years], and it broke my heart when Benny passed on after a year and 3 months... ...Never got another.

THAT aside, THIS movie will hopefully bring back fond memories of my little buddy!

Aww. I can sympathise Kev. I once had six beautiful rats! In two large cages and an improvised tunnel system. They were called Druif, Dibbes, Bami, Puma, Nasi and poolekie. almost all of them died of cancer in about 3 years time. I had NO IDEA how intelligent these little creatures were! They even responded to their names. Still miss them, and at the time had NO CLUE how you can even grow so much attached to these little friends.

Thanks lb! I never really worry about your releases as they usually load pretty quickly.

After I saw this post I checked the files and found that the subs were completed, but the actual film had only loaded 1.11MB's... I look forward to finishing it now!

Good to hear that the reformat process wasn't as devestating as it could have been. Best of luck in getting everything you need reinstalled without more problems.
