Thanks for another interesting release BLT but, once again, no sources.

Existing widescreen well sourced eMule file......previews OK, no subtitles

I'll be unsharing & deleting this as it's swamping my connection but it's incredibly well sourced & a rapid download.

or.........high quality rapidshare file I downloaded (I won't be posting the RS links but they can be found easily enough). Also widescreen.

Matching English subtitles that may or may not be in sync with the existing eMule release

I am sorry, did not do much searching before posting (I don't know where to search for the rapidshare link anyway). Just found the DVD in my collection and decided to post, because it was not listed here. I guess I bought the DVD before widescreen was released.

I think occasional "no sources" is normal eMule behaviour. I have noticed that files (recently) posted by other members also have no sources occasionally. Plus, my ISP is blocking P2P most of the time during weekend.

BTW -- in case it matters -- the main characters in this movie are boys. I think it is a remarkable movie about childhood.

thanks BizarreLoveTriangle your post is appreciated. and so is the others you have done for us. but your super slow upload rate is almost a tease compared to everyone else who uploads here. yes emule is a patience thing and if you are the only source for a movie than i will certainly wait however long it takes. :) i have though reached the point where i don't even click your link and do a search first than if none found i grab your link. i found this in ten minutes on torrent and emule. ;) that being said you have brought to our attention some good little gems and i am very happy you did. now if we can just find a better way for you to share to us :think

Thanks for the links lb, I was going to post the first one but my download of it wasn't as quick as yours.

BLT, no shame in posting films where you aren't the source. Rich, the site founder, posts 99% found eMule links. We are very lucky to have others here who can be sources and who do their own rips, but if something which is basically equivalent (quality, file size, language, subs etc) is already well sourced on eMule then eMule is better off if we use it here. Verified links are preferred but we're quite accepting of whatever you have as long as it's clear if it's unverified, some users with limited bandwidth or diskspace want to wait until a link is known good.

It only matters if it's a surprise, some members won't be interested though many will. And naturally many people hate spending the time downloading something only to find it's not what they thought. But putting that in the description or as an addendum like you just did is perfect.

If you are using the eMule default ports 4662/4672 then change them to something somewhat random thousands higher. The simplest and cheapest form of blocking ISPs use just blocks those ports since many users don't bother to change them. There are ways for ISPs to block them anyway ("deep packet inspection" or just monitoring bandwidth used) but they aren't used everywhere, so changing ports is worth trying.

If you are still being blocked with different port assignments, try enabling "allow obfuscated connections only". It's not recommended because some old eMule clients don't support it and you won't be able to to connect to them, but if you are actively being blocked it's worth trying. Again, an ISP can still block but it's tougher for them to do so sometimes this helps. Obviously after changing this or changing ports an eMule restart (or even a system restart) may be required for them to take effect.

I am already using non-standard ports and my ISP is (AFAIK) only blocking during certain time of day, so I can live with it. There are probably some other reasons for slow upload, but it should get better in a few months. I would rather post now, because in a few months I might not remember anymore what I wanted to post.

Feel free to post better sources if you have them, even though it is not very pleasant if I do my own DVD rip and then people come with much better sources. But I am too lazy to search eMule and torrents myself :(

Others here are very good at finding sources, and enjoy doing so. If you think it likely something is already out there, before you take the time to rip you can post it as a REQ and see if anyone else has it.

Well, I downloaded the OwL rip last October myself. It is widescreen and looks much better than my DVD :wall Thanks, lb :thumbsup

Needless to say, all rips that I have can be requested via flmhash. I think downloads from me should be faster now, because I am sharing more efficiently.
