question about images on firefox

Post by rmt@36 »   0 likes

Hi all,

So here is the story I was pissed off with firefox being slow so I uninstalled everything, (add-ons, favourites settings, everything).

I started over and set it up to run faster, I am happy with it but now I am looking for some help in getting the names of add-ons for images.

I have firefox 3.5 and before I could put my cursor on an image and it would have a download or save button that would come up and I could
click on it and it would automatically save in a folder. (I could also save embedded photos, on IMDB and such) I am looking for help to be able to get me
this back as I tend to save a lot of photos from IMDB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Cheers

Part of it is I am too lazy, also when on a site I troll through pictures checking which ones I want and I save them. it makes it easier when I can go through it quicker.

I also tried a mass downloader and all I got was the thumbnails not the pictures.

I also download from IMDB but the pictures are embedded and right now I can not right click them.

My previous incarnation of firefox I was able to put the cursor on the picture and it would have save or something like that.

This add on is what I am looking for.

I used to use background saver but it is not compatible with firefox3.5.

Can anybody give me some ideas

Thanx
