image posting

Post by starfish21 »   0 likes

for some time now i've noticed that the image posting function always seems to post images the same size regardless of whether i choose the 'do not resize my image' or not,
i've tried picking all different sizes but it makes no difference,i've even tried converting the formats of the source pics and resizing them but they always appear on the post as small.
am i the only one with this problem ? :think
i like seeing large images on my posts not these crappy little thumbnails that seem to always show.

the original of this picture is 2592x3888,i chose a large size at postimage(17 inch monitor) and this is what i get all the time.

What you have are thumbnails. It is good etiquette to post thumbnails, so people with slow connections are not inconvenienced. Anyone who wants to see the full size image only needs to click the thumbnail and a new window will open up and show the original image. :thumbsup

Yes, the "682*1024 245kb" across the bottom is a signal it's a thumbnail and those are the dimensions of the full image, which you get upon clicking on the thumbnail.
