Looks like he made it, after all...

<sigh> I hope it was worth it for him. Once I saw him in my queue, I could see he's got highid, has obfuscation working, and is connected to KAD, so it looks like he got his eMule working right. He was just too impatient for how it all works. Like I said, eMule's not for those who want instant gratification.

The people at FLM have always been very helpful and nice to me and I wouldn't want to lose that good will. This incident may make people hesitate to assist him in the future.

No one hurt at all......just a rather peculiar shape now!
The bodyshop has given me something nasty & French while mine is being repaired although doubtless it's of more robust construction than idler's suggestion of a Mercedes Smart Car. I embrace 'crash & bash' motoring & one of these would probably just disintegrate in a very short space of time in my hands!

You missed what was actually quite an impressive 70mph crash-test of a Smart Car. Problem is, I still have a fundamental mistrust of something that's 2 metres long & made of plastic....... . I've also had the misfortune to drive one & they are deeply dreadful.

If ggstar has indeed got his file then not returning to offer thanks or give an update is just plain fucking rude & doesn't help the cause of new members who may be struggling & seeking advice. I'll still try to help in future for what I consider a genuine request but will certainly be somewhat selective......
