........went for a stroll in a local country park enjoying some late October sunshine. Lots of wildlife to photograph...........ducks, geese, rabbits, squirrels, cormorants, parrots......

Quality's a bit crappy as I didn't have time to screw a big lens on the camera but you get the idea & not exactly what I would expect to see on a railway line!
Later research would suggest an escaped Australian Parakeet unless anyone can come up with anything different. It was about 5/6 times the size of your average budgie!

My fragile emotional state goes from bad to worse........
This morning found me at the same country park, complete with a bag of parrot food [Image]

On my return home I was stupid enough to leave the bag of mixed seed unattended in the kitchen where it was duly sabotaged, eaten & the remains strewn all over the house by my two cats. At least that should keep their bowels regular........
