What is the purpose of this forum?

I thought this was a forum for lovers of girls in the movies - to discuss the various films and opinions about them. But it seems that the exclusive purpose is to share information on downloading films. Is that so?

If so, I suggest creating a FAQ with such basic information. The sharing of film links seems incomplete without information about the films themselves! Also, I am in the dark ages about all this high-tech stuff. I rented/bought films on DVD, VCD or VHS, copied to mini-DV then created imovies and burned DVDs. I'd be happy to learn about how to make the transition to this new method.

If you have a question about how to use programs then feel free to ask in this section of the forum. I suggest taking a look at other topics posted here first

If Hermes wants to discuss about Movies, welcome there is a General section in the forum where he can do it and I see he has some answers already, and he must not see with bad eyes we share or post movies if we don't have acces to them and see them, don't know how can we discuss with him about them, he mentioned some movies we don't know and many of us don't have easy access to them so let's see them and then we can have an opinion.

A brief overview of how things work.

You can post a release - with [REL] in the title (preferably with screencaps, description, or links to them) in the country the movie was made in. If you're not sure, use the 'Unlisted' section. When we know which country it belongs to, Rich will move it to the appropriate section.

You can also post a request for a movie in the same way, with [REQ] in the title. When someone finds and releases the movie that was requested, the [REQ] will be changed into [REL].

You can add a reply to any existing thread with your comments. Your input is appreciated and welcome.

As paquini said, it is difficult to discuss movies we have never seen, hence the emphasis on making them available.

Why go high tech when many of us can do it the old fashioned way? The only value I can see to this P2P system is that it allows for some degree of anonymity (if you are paranoid) and it's free. I am totally unfamiliar with this new way. I will research this forum for answers.

Because; a) it's extremely difficult to find some of the movies posted here on the net, and impossible in local shops/stores,

b) due to the lack of information on the types of movies this site concerns itself with, your more likely to (if you manage to find it to buy) end up wasting your money on a totally off-topic movie,

c) .....

I can't find many of movies posted here in stores or can't be saled here.

About my sentences in last post I'm sorry if I wasn't clear or specific, some times have a storm of ideas and don't choose the right words. I'll try to make it better
