Looks interesting, but some info about movie would be appreciated. And no need to say subs!

File has hardcoded French subs.
Should be moved to REL.

Are you sure that the Youtube file is really from this movie? In this case subs are pure necessity, because what I saw was the "talking head". Might be really very interesting, but only with subs.

Cute film, kind of a kid's-eye view of life in 1965 Europe.
Documentary about a ten-year-old Amsterdam girl. Johan van der Keuken met Beppie when she was looking for foreign stamps and came to his door. He decided to make a film about her daily life and followed Beppie during events that were important to her. In Beppie's footsteps we experience her little adventures: bell pull, eating chips at school, the arrival of St. Nicholas, the hairdresser, to the bathhouse, visiting Grandma and Aunt Miep and Christmas at the Salvation Army. Beppie's comments with her outspoken views on life and death, on television, to love, and money again. The film turned Beppie into a "star" for a time. Besides Johan van der Keuken, fellow photographer and filmmaker Ed van der Elsken did the camerawork for the film.

Re: [REL] Beppie (1965)
This is a documentary, sort of a day-in-the-life thing. It was mostly aimed at showing what the girl's daily routine was like, what she felt about different things going on, etc. There is a short OT scene but it and the story aren't real "grabbers", so you might want to wait on this one until you finish downloading some of the more "interesting" ones.ARTHORIUS wrote:Anyone can tell me for which reason don't like B/W movies but this yes?
